My new book is out now!

It takes a long time for a book to be published – around two years from signing a contract to it being in your local bookshop – but my new book is finally out and I couldn’t be happier with it!

The Year of The Dog is a fun, quirky and practical book filled with 365 activities to do with and for your dog, whatever their age, size and personality, from cinema trips to doga (yoga for dogs) classes, agility games in the garden to boat trips, and playing in paddling pools to having bedtime stories.

I’ve also included lots of recipes (every dog who’s tasted my doggy meat loaf has loved it), games that you can do at home and ideas for weekends away, because most dogs want to go on holiday with you, not stay at home missing you. Whilst taking your dog away might be a once-a-year event, I've included lots of free and inexpensive activities that you can do any time your dog is ready for some fun.

There are also special sections on activities for puppies, older dogs (like mine), rescue dogs, solo dogs and dogs that live in little packs (when I had three dogs I loved that there was always someone wanting to play, walk or snuggle).

Whatever type of dog you have, this book will make them happy!

Published by Quiller books, The Year of The Dog, by Deana Luchia, is available now.
